This MCS inverter produces a continuous 400 watts when connected to a good 12vdc power source such as a car battery. This unit consistently produces it's rated results unlike some inferior models.

Ships with 2 cable sets:  

-a lighter plug cable set to use for smaller applications (most vehicle lighter sockets will produce around 200w of power

-a battery clamp cable set for connecting directly to a car battery to utilize the full 400w of output of the unit
