BALANCED vs UNBALANCED
(there is a difference)
If the gear allows such, a BALANCED cable is far better for transfering signal than an UNBALANCED cable.
The key point here is: IF your gear accepts BALANCED signals!! Very very important that you know this!!
This cable is BALANCED. If you're unaware of the difference betwee balanced and unbalanced, do yourself a favor and research the difference before purchasing your cables.
The truth is over the years we have become aware that while most in pro audio consider this issue as just common knowledge, there's a fair amount of buyers out there that have absolutely no clue that there is a difference.
By far the most common senario we hear of is a buyer will purchase a BALANCED cable and attempt to plug it into an UNBALANCED jack. Naturally the result is usually very little to no sound at all and/or a slight buzz since the balanced cable is shorting out the jack in your gear.
